I used to run an online shop making and selling Belgian chocolates and confectionery. Being a Belgian pastry chef and chocolatier, I loved doing what I connected with most.
I published my first book ‘The Festive Belgian Bakery - Holiday Edition’ late last year after having to wrap up my chocolate shop.
The book featured recipes and techniques for making things we sold in the shop as well as some holiday season favourites.
I’ve been saying ‘I’m writing another book’ and that’s technically true but it’s also proving to be quite the beast to put together.
So many recipes.
Which means it probably wouldn’t be ready for quite some time.
To make it a bit more manageable, I’m considering an in-between. Not quite writing the whole book in one go but starting out with sections.
Each section should, hopefully, have some background about the season and recipes so you can get some of the recipes from the next book sooner, just not, you know, printed.
Each section would be available here for subscribers, of course.
This would be a seasonal thing depending on how it goes.

This would be an intermediate baking level so useful if you’ve baked a few things and are quite comfortable but with some simpler options too and with all the steps included so you can have a go if you’re not super comfortable yet as well.
